Mr. Anthony S. Ikott – Chairman / CEO

Mr. Anthony Ikott is the Founder, Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Petro-Pride Subsea Limited (PPSL Group). He is an astute and a successful businessman, a philanthropist, a champion of Local content development.

He has worked in Index Brook, Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited (SPSL) as Business development officer where he represented and advised the companies Managements on crucial business decisions before he pulled out to form and build PPSL Group.
PPSL has done well in the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and is destined to grow in leaps and bounds under the leadership of this man.

The CEO is widely travelled, undergone full time training on Entrepreneurship, Business Development and Strategies, Project Management and other business related trainings in famous Business schools abroad.

 

Rt. Hon (Chief) NDUESE ESSIEN- Chairman of Board

Rt. Hon (Chief) Nduese Essien is a former Federal Minister of Lands, Housing & Urban Development under the then acting regime and administration of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan 2010. He was a member Nigerian National Assembly representing Akwa Ibom State from 1999 to 2007.

Hon Nduese Essien is a native of Nta Isip-Ikot Ibiok, Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.  He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a B.Sc in Business Administration in 1972. Essien's first job was with The Chronicle newspaper in the commercial department. In 1974 he became a lecturer at the College of Technology, Calabar. He left to start a business consultancy practice in 1979, and later ran a successful company marketing books for students.

In 1979 Hon. Nduese Essien was the Public Relations Officer of the National Party of Nigeria in Eket. He remained active in local politics, and in 1999 was selected as People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Assembly candidate for the Eket, Onna, Esit Eket and Ibeno constituency. He was elected, and in April 2003 was reelected, leaving office in May 2007.

During his first term, Nduese Essien chaired the South South Parliamentary Caucus, and was a member of committees on Internal Affairs and Women Affairs. In 2003, he was appointed Chairman of the House Committee on Anti-Corruption, National Ethics and Values. He was also appointed Chairman of the Nigerian Chapter of the African Parliamentarians Network against Corruption, and was later elected Regional Director in Charge of West Africa. After leaving office in 2007, he was a member of the National Technical Assessment Committee on the Niger Delta region.

Following his 6 April 2010 appointment as Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Nduese Essien identified land reform and provision of housing as key items in the administration's seven-point agenda. On 13 April 2010 he pledged to revamp decaying housing estates and to deliver 54,500 new houses within the next 10 months.

Rt. Hon (Chief) Nduese Essien, seats in other organisation board rooms and has brought his knowledge and wealth of experience in charting the new course for PETRO-PRIDE GROUP.

 

Mr. Curtis Campbell – Group General Manager

Mr. Curtis Campbell is the PPSL Group General Manager. An American by nationality with over Thirty (30) years of offshore construction, Diving and Subsea Engineering and Management experience garnered across the globe.

He holds a degree in Marine Biology (1974), started his career as a Research Biologist before joining the construction world.

He worked in the Gulf of Mexico and has over ten (10) years offshore/onshore in Nigeria with ExxonMobil before he retired and joined PPSL. He brings to bear his wealth of managerial and Technical experience to PPSL.

 

Mr. Victor Samuel Ikott – Operations Manager

Mr. Ikott, the Operations Manager is a graduate of Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Uyo, 1995.

His vast experience covers infrastructure analysis, dedicated support of IT infrastructure in ExxonMobil, EMIT, EAS (Eket Area Service), Systems analyst / Engineer with Index Brook Limited Lagos before joining PPSL to Manage projects onshore / offshore and to oversee internal and external cohesion and business supports.

 

GODWIN IKHAIDUWOR – Finance Director

Godwin Ikhaiduwor is a graduate of Accounting and holds an MBA in Management from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) Port Harcourt. He has equally completed an M.Sc in International Finance and Economics from the same University. Godwin has over 22 years wide experience in Financial and Management accounting, Auditing, and General Operations. Godwin has over 10years as a Finance Manager with NBC PLC bottlers of Coca-Cola before joining Adamac Group of Companies an Oil and Gas Services Company as a Finance Manager  and rose to Group Accounts Manager. He left to join GlaxoSmithKline a giant Pharmaceutical company as a Senior Manager to manage all payables and Inventories across the three business units in Nigeria with advisory role to other West Africa Countries before taking up appointment with PPSL as a Finance Director.

Godwin is a Member of Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria Institute of Management, Institute of Cost Management, Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria Final, and Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria.

Godwin has attended various courses on Financial Management, Project Management, Senior leadership training, Project Excellent and other Management workshops both within and outside Nigeria.

 

HENRY HAMILTON TOBIN-WEST- Company Secretary / Legal Adviser

Henry Hamilton Tobin-West is a Barrister at Law with LL.B degree from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) Port Harcourt 1991. He was called to Bar (BL) 1992 and holds a Masters degree in Law (LL.M) from University of Lagos 1996.

He is a corporate and commercial law practitioner, belongs to, and holds membership to professional affiliations / bodies;  Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), International Bar Association, Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators, Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

He worked as Commercial Services Manager at Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited, Port Harcourt, Legal / Administration Manager at United Geophysical Limited, Port Harcourt, as Senior Counsel / Head, Company Secretariat Unit of ANGA & EMUWA, Barrister, Solicitors & Notaries Public Lagos, before joining PETRO-PRIDE GROUP to advise and strengthen PPSL group-wide  legal compliance in contracting and commercial policies / procedures in projects execution.
